Stamp Duty to be axed on FTB properties under GBP250k

hancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling is set to axe Stamp Duty on home purchases for first-time buyers worth less than GBP 250,000 in the budget today, according to the BBC.

Mr Darling is expected to describe it as "a Budget to secure the recovery and invest in our industrial future".
