There is growing recognition that property is no longer a seller's market and that vendors must price their homes accordingly, a real estate service provider has claimed. Latest data from a leading property website shows that asking prices in July were down by 1.8 per cent from June and by two per cent year-on-year, while the average number of unsold homes on estate agency branches' books rose to an unparalleled 77 last month.
