Future Mortgages has been forced to actively discourage new business after a surge in applications. The significant backlog in applications being experienced by the business had begun to impinge on service and as a result the lender has strongly emphasised the need for all applications to be fully packaged up before submission. A spokesperson for Future Mortgages said that it had now put 'a sensible and well thought-out programme' in place to help manage the back-up of business.
