A large number of young homebuyers are unaware of the correct definitions of some of the most basic home-buying principles, new research has found. According to a new Safe as Houses home-buyer report from AA Legal Services, 40 per cent of first-time buyers do not know the difference between a freehold property and a leasehold property.
