Property prices are increasing faster in Scotland than in the UK as a whole, according to new figures, with some areas showing particularly rapid growth. The average Scottish house price was £141,158 for the third quarter, the data from the Bank of Scotland (BoS) revealed, up 0.7 per cent on the previous three months and 14.2 per cent year-on-year, compared to 10.7 per cent annual growth for the UK overall.
