There will not be a property market collapse next year, one estate agent has claimed, but any price falls will in fact open up opportunities for some borrowers. Recent indexes by Halifax and Nationwide both indicated that house prices fell in November, while even the most optimistic commentators have only predicted flat price growth over 2008.
