RICS reports falling confidence in prices

House prices growth remained negative for the fourth month in a row in November, the Institution of Chartered Surveyors has reported in its latest UK housing market survey. The report, published today, found that 40.6% more chartered surveyors reported a fall in house prices than a rise, in the most negative response since May 2005, when 49% of surveyors reported a fall rather than a rise.
